Local residents organize festivals; perform |
| Hamptonites Timm and Jennifer (“Sergeant”) Dalman will be entertaining both sides of the river for this year's Port Byron – Le Claire River Rug Fest. They will be presenting their style of Top 40 Pop Rock music in Le Claire on Friday night before and after the fireworks. Joining them in Le Claire that night will be two Funny Bone comedians and solo artist Mike Kuk. They will perform in Port Byron Saturday night at 8 PM. |
| Also playing both sides of the river Saturday night will be popular regional artist Dave Rogers of the Sloughwater Band, who will perform in Port Byron at 7:00 PM Saturday, and then immediately board a 24' flat bottom boat with his entourage and band equipment and race across the river to play in Le Claire an hour later. |
| The featured entertainment for Port Byron on Saturday will be “Coup de Ville” 50's and 60's rock band at 9:30 PM. |
| For Le Claire, Timm Dalman and New Anthem Music have provided a weekend of variety entertainment, as he did for Port Byron last year. |
| All of Hampton is invited to attend either side of the event this weekend. |
